Silicon Sensing supporting AIRTEC

Silicon Sensing has been appointed to the Scientific and Technology Committee for Aerospace Sensors and Testing for AIRTEC. The company’s Business Development Manager, Eric Whitley, recently presented a paper on the future trends of MEMS inertial sensors for Aerospace applications during the AIRTEC 2013 congress in Frankfurt. The ‘march of MEMS’ based sensors displacing the long entrenched mechanical and optical based sensors is gathering pace as advances in the technology now mean they are a match in terms of performance and stability, at a fraction of the cost.
